The MKJ SUPA CUP is administered by the County Government of Makueni under the MKJ TINA initiative. This portal (mkjsupacup.com) is operated for the purpose of managing the Governor Mutula Kilonzo Junior Supa Cup competitions across Makueni County.
2. Information We Collect

- Team registration data — team name, ward, sub-county, discipline, manager name, email and phone number.
- Player data — full name, date of birth, national ID number, Huduma Namba, phone number, passport-size photograph, copies of identity documents.
- Portal user data — email address, role, assigned ward/sub-county, login timestamps and IP addresses.
- Contact form data — name, email address and message content submitted via the Contact Us form.
- Technical data — browser type, IP address, pages visited, session duration (standard web server logs).
3. How We Use Your Information
- To process and manage team and player registrations for MKJ SUPA CUP competitions.
- To verify player eligibility (age, identity, higher-league checks) as required by competition rules.
- To send email notifications related to registration approvals, longlist reviews, fixture schedules, and results.
- To maintain an audit trail of official actions taken within the portal.
- To respond to enquiries submitted via the contact form.
- To improve portal security and prevent fraudulent submissions.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
We process personal data on the basis of:
- Legitimate public interest — administering a county government sports programme.
- Consent — where team managers and players voluntarily submit registration data.
- Legal obligation — where identity verification is required by competition regulations.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent personal data. We may share data with:
- Authorised MKJ SUPA CUP officials (Ward Sports Council Chairs, Sub-County Sports Officers, referees) on a need-to-know basis.
- The County Government of Makueni for official reporting purposes.
- Brevo (email delivery provider) — email addresses are transmitted to send transactional emails. Brevo processes this data in accordance with GDPR.
- Cloudflare — we use Cloudflare Turnstile for spam prevention on the contact form.
6. Data Retention
Player and registration data is retained for the duration of the active competition season and for a minimum of 3 years thereafter for audit and eligibility purposes. Contact form messages are retained for 12 months. Portal activity logs are retained for 12 months.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data (subject to our retention obligations).
- Object to processing in certain circumstances.

8. Security

No system is completely secure; we encourage users to keep their login credentials confidential and to report any suspected security issues immediately.

This site uses strictly necessary session cookies for authentication. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. The Cloudflare Turnstile widget on the contact form may set a functional cookie to prevent spam.
10. Changes to This Policy

- Ward team managers to register and manage their teams and players for MKJ SUPA CUP competitions.
- Authorised officials (WSCC, SCSO, referees, administrators) to perform their designated competition management duties.

3. Prohibited Conduct
You must not:
- Submit false, fraudulent or misleading registration information.
- Attempt to access accounts or data you are not authorised to access.
- Use automated scripts, bots or crawlers to submit forms or extract data.
- Interfere with the security or integrity of the platform.
- Impersonate another person, team or official.
4. Player Data Accuracy
Team managers are solely responsible for the accuracy of all player data submitted, including identity documents and dates of birth. Submission of false information may result in disqualification of the team and referral to the relevant authorities.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on this site including logos, design, competition data and results belongs to the County Government of Makueni / MKJ SUPA CUP. You may not reproduce or distribute this content without written permission.
6. Disclaimer
This platform is provided "as is". We make no warranties regarding uptime, accuracy of results or fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for any loss arising from use of or inability to use this platform.
7. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Makueni County.
